Human Resource practitioner and the HR Manager at DuraPlast Limited, Esther Baidoo Williams, has been honoured with the “Outstanding Leadership Excellence Award in Human Resource for the Manufacturing Industry” in Ghana, at the recently concluded Ghana Executive Management Awards, 2025.
Duraplast Limited is a Ghanaian company specialising in the production of high-quality unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC) and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes and fittings, serving the water, electrical, and other engineering markets in Ghana and West Africa.
The esteemed recognition underscores her exceptional leadership in providing strategic HR consultation over the years and DuraPlast's rapid ascent in Ghana's manufacturing landscape.

The remarkable honour also authenticates her continuous growth and contribution to the Ghanaian economy, and also for being an extremely respected personality advocating for best business practices in the sector.
Esther Baidoo Williams has over a decade of experience in HR services and has managed about 3,000 workers with notable brands such as Blow Chem Industries and several others. The awards scheme was held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra and was organised by the Business Executive Group.
The event seeks to identify, honour and celebrate a cross-section of the nation’s most influential and accomplished CEOs, other top managers and heads of departments who are constantly using the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately the country.
In an interview, Esther Baidoo expressed her profound gratitude to God Almighty for his guidance and protection, and friends and family for their unflinching support always.
She especially mentioned her committed staff, colleagues and management at DuraPlast for their unwavering dedication to support her dream of becoming the best HR practitioner.
“I would like to thank God for always answering my prayers and for keeping me moving. This is indeed a massive win for all DuraPlast Limited workers. I will keep pursuing my dream of always giving out my ultimate best for God and country ", she noted.
