A slim 1-0 win by New Edubiase on Saturday compounded Berekum Arsenals' troubles down the table in the Glo Premier League.
Arsenals, second from bottom on the standings were hoping to start the second round of the league in a positive fashion but found the Gyamfi Park a difficult ground to pick any valuable point from.
Edubiase picked all three points after 70 minutes when Mamoud Suleman struck for the home side.
The win lifts Edubiase to the middle of the table as Arsenals struggle down the table.
