Family members of Abdul-Nasir Yussif, one of the two protestors who was killed during the clash with Military personnel, Tuesday, have threatened to ensure, on their own, that justice is done in the matter, if government fails to do so.

Speaking to JoyNews' Erastus Asare Donkor, Tuesday, head of the family, Abdulahi Abubakar intimated that, '"If Ghana government think he will leave the Justice into the hands of the population, we are ready to take the justice and we will do the Justice ourselves. Without Justice, there will not be peace in Ejura."

Abdul-Nasir Yussif, who was a farmer and a travelling agent, met his untimely death during a clash between military officials and the youth of Ejura Sekyedumase in their bid to seek justice for the death of 40-year-old Ibrahim Kaaka Mohammed.

Earlier on Tuesday, the youth stormed the Police station to inquire about the extent of investigations regarding the murder of their colleague, stressing that they want the Police to leave no stone unturned in bringing the perpetrators to book.

In a quest to avenge the death of Kaaka Macho, the youth of the community hit the streets to protest but were met by Military and Police personnel.

The soldiers are captured on a video firing live bullets into the protesting crowd, resulting in the death of two residents with four others who sustained severe injuries. The four are being treated at the hospital.

Expressing his disappointment at the turn of events, Mr Abubakar noted that military officials deployed to restore peace in Ejura displayed unprofessionalism by shooting into the crowd.

He is of the view that, these Military officials are party vigilantes recruited into the country’s security forces.

"I don't think that Ghana Armed Forces, well-trained, they know very well that we don’t go to a demonstration and shoot warning shot with a real bullet. They intentionally did it. I can confirm to you that they are not Ghana Armed Forces, Ghana Armed Forces are well trained, they know how to protect Ghanaians and not to kill them. These are vigilante groups formed by the political group."  

For him, it is high time the incumbent government desists from recruiting party foot soldiers into Ghana's security forces.

"This government should try and take off this vigilante group out of Ghana Armed Forces. Have you ever seen a warning shot breaking the leg of somebody? What role do Military officials get to play amidst a demonstration? They intentionally killed our brother and all we want is Justice."
