Eleven people died Saturday when the vehicle they were traveling on collided with an articulated truck near Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Ahafo region.
According to Dormaa Ahenkro District Police Commander, DSP Mahamud Yusif, the accident involved two mini buses and an articulated truck.
DSP Yusif told Joy News, it was a head-on collision as the articulated truck was heading from Dormaa Ahenkro to Kumasi with the mini buses heading from Kumasi to Dormaa Ahenkro.
In all about 15 others who sustained various degrees of injuries are on admission.
The accident created a huge vehicular traffic which has since reduced following the evacuation of the accident victims.
