Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ghana CEO Network & CEO Summit, Ernest De-Graft Egyir, has described the late General Manager of Joy Brands, Elvis Koku Kwashie as a doyen of thoughtful journalism.
After a short illness, the seasoned media professional passed on in the late hours of Tuesday, December 28.

In a Facebook post to eulogise the late Elvis Kwashie, the CEO praised him for his professionalism and commitment to achieving the best results.
“I’m heartbroken at the loss of a doyen of standard for fair, probing and thoughtful journalism. Elvis was the best media management professional I have seen in the last decade.
"The name Elvis Quarshie kept betting my concern especially with the kind and the quality journalistic results and impact from Joy FM. So indomitable a media brand and journalists you help built and churned at Joy FM,” he said in a Facebook post.
Mr Egyir further recounted his joyous moments with Elvis Kwashie.
“Elvis supported and encouraged my business from the onset, considering his role at Joy FM. The last time we engaged was when I made a donation towards a Joy FM Charity event when he received that on behalf of Joy FM. He had a knack for the best. Elvis, we were to connect and strengthen our business relationship in 2022,” he added.
He commiserated with Elvis' family and asked for God’s protection for his family.
