Mr Wilson Krofah, President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has appealed to entrepreneurs to take advantage of the favourable economic climate in the country to do business.
He made the call at a one-day International Business Summit organised by the Western Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry for local and foreign investors who are visiting Sekondi-Takoradi to watch matches of Ghana 2008 tournament at Takoradi.
The summit was under the theme "Football As A Catalyst For Development".
Mr Krofah said the government has created numerous opportunities for entrepreneurs to exploit and that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was ready to assist entrepreneurs to promote local and international trade.
Mr Frederick Amos Hughes, Managing Director of Hughes Hospitality Company, cautioned traditional rulers against entering into verbal agreements with investors who come to their areas to set up businesses.
He said chiefs should ensure that all agreements with investors are put down on paper.
