In the ever-evolving universe of Akan sports broadcasting, few voices echo with the power, precision, and presence of Eric Asiedu Boadi, also known on-air as Kegyiwa Nankasa.
From a modest classroom in Nkawkaw to the commanding seat of one of Ghana’s biggest sports brands, Kegyiwa’s story is not just inspirational; it’s revolutionary.
Long before Eric’s voice thrilled millions on radio and TV, Eric spent five years shaping minds as a pupil teacher in Nkawkaw, an experience he says gave him patience, clarity, and the gift of communication, tools that have become key to his broadcasting journey.

But destiny had other plans. In 2010, Eric emerged as the winner of the fiercely contested second edition of Adom FM’s reality show, ADOM STAR, beating over 500 hopefuls.
In a media industry notorious for swallowing up reality show winners, he did the unthinkable: he broke the voodoo.
More than a decade later, Eric has risen through the ranks at Multimedia Group from intern to presenter, and now Deputy Head of Sports, with one of the sharpest minds and most commanding voices in Akan sports journalism.

Eric’s voice is a staple across Adom FM, Adom TV, and Asempa FM.
As host of “Sports Arena” on Adom TV and foreign sports presenter on the acclaimed “Ultimate Sports Show”, he blends insight, charisma, and energy that keeps audiences glued.
He is also behind “PrepZone” and “Sports Avenue 1” on Asempa FM, shows that blend football flair with fearless analysis.
In 2022, he made history as one of the first Twi commentators for both the FIFA World Cup and English Premier League on DStv, bringing Ghanaian flavour to global football in a way never done before.
Beyond commentary, Eric is one of the top voice-over artists in Ghana.

His voice sells, literally powering dozens of radio and TV commercials across the country. It’s no wonder brands love him and listeners trust him.
His gift for storytelling and rhythm has also led him to host various music shows on Hitz FM, showcasing his range and adaptability in the media space.
With numerous nominations for Best Sports Show Host and Best Commentator of the Year, Eric stands tall among Ghana’s elite broadcasters.
Yet, despite the spotlight, he remains grounded in his core values: originality, authenticity, creativity, honesty, and respect.
And it shows whether he’s breaking down Real Madrid’s transfer strategy in Twi, or voicing a prime-time ad, Eric brings the “wow” factor every single time.
As he puts it best, quoting his favourite media line from Milton Glaser: “There are three responses to a piece of design – yes, no and wow! Wow is the one to aim for.”
When he’s not dissecting football tactics or voicing your favourite ad, Eric is a family man, a lover of music, and a dedicated football fan.
A product of Mpraeso Secondary School, Rabodef Radio Academy, and the University of Cape Coast, he wears his journey with pride.
He’s also fast building a vibrant digital tribe where he commands over 50,000 followers on TikTok, over 14,000 on Facebook, and growing audiences on Instagram and X, proving that his voice travels well beyond the airwaves.
Eric Asiedu Boadi is not just a sports journalist. He is a mentor and a living testimony that talent, when nurtured with discipline and passion, can redefine the rules.
From classroom chalk to the Champions League mic, he’s shown that the journey to greatness may start small, but it ends loud.
And Ghana is listening.
