Ghana striker Emmanuel Clottey was officially unveiled as the new player of Tunisian giants Esperance on Thursday.The 25-year-old ,goal scorer joins the Blood and Gold on a three-year-deal from Berekum Chelsea for a reported $1.5 million.The former Odense BK attacker impressed for the ambitious Berekum-based side which has seen him notch up 12 goals in the CAF Champions League this season- almost equaling Stephen Worgu’s 13-goal haul in 2007.He will be eligible to play in the FIFA Club World Cup should Esperance defend their title.The 2007 Ghana Premier League goal king will be playing for his third club abroad after failing to make an impact at Austrian side FC Wacker Innsbruck and Danish side Odense BK four years ago.Clottey is expected to boost the attack of the reigning African champions and will join his Ghana teammate Harrison Afful who is in his third season.
