I am pleased with the customer service I received from Abossey Okai branch of Fidelity Bank. I went to the branch to receive money sent to me.
As a physically challenged person, the money sent to me could not even give me comfort due to dozens of abuses and challenges I go thorough on my daily transactions on the streets of Accra because of my condition.
Before walking to the banking hall tears rolled down my face, and I couldn’t just forgive the driver who reduced me into this condition in a hot afternoon.
On my arrival, a gentleman walked up to me and asked if he could assist me with my transaction, which I agreed.
In fact this gentleman gave me an infirmary service I have never received for the past five years in this condition. He did not only handle me with outermost care and professionalism but with tolerant, patience and attention, and all eyes were watching.
After taking me through the process, I felt like this is not just a banker demonstrating high sense of professionalism but to me, he completely recovered me from trauma of which my own family members and medical experts have not been successful at for the past years after being amputated.
The way and manner the gentleman treated me did not only make me feel a sense of belonging and putting smiles on my face, but rather gave me hope in my entire life.
Fidelity Bank has real feelings for the DISABILITY and I am so grateful to the bank for such a service given to Persons living with DISABILITY.
Upon asking the gentleman’s name he mentioned WISDOM DODO.
This is not to shower praises on the bank but to appeal to service providers in Ghana and all government institutions/establishments to show care and consider the plight of persons with disability.
