Fifa retired referee Joseph Wellington is content with the decision of the referees review committee in sanctioned some members of the association for poor officiating in the ongoing Ghana premier league.
The referees review committee earlier this week suspended eight referees from officiating in the first round after been found guilty of bad officiating in the opening two matches of this season’s league.
Joseph Wellington in an interview with Joy Sports believes this sanction will serve as an example to the other referees to put up their best in the league.
“It is a process of learning and I think it is in the right direction since it will teach them a lesson”. He told Joy Sports.
