The Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) has suspended Tracey Boakye after her feud with singer Mzbel.
In a press release signed by the President James Boakye, the Association believes the actions of Tracey are regrettable and does not reflect Ghanaian culture, ethics and traditions.
Her actions also does not reflect what FIPAG stands for or wishes to promote, Mr Boakye added.
"In view of this FIPAG has immediately suspended Tracey Boakye indefinitely. She is not supposed to take part in any activity until she is reviewed."
FIPAG also apologised to Ghanaians on behalf of the actress asking for Ghanaians to "find the space to forgive her."
Tracey Boakye and Mzbel took to their Instagram page, posting videos attacking each other over their relationship with the same married man.
Social media users expressed disappointment in the two celebrities who were seen as role models for the youth.
Reacting to the suspension, actress Tracey Boakye said she is unaffected by the sanction, as she is not a member of the association.
However, FIPAG's PRO Mawuli Ekpe Peter revealed the actress joined the Association 8 years ago.
At the time, Miss Tracey could only afford to pay ¢300 out of the mandatory fee ¢500 fee, Mr Peter said.
He added that the part-payment validated her status in the association despite the unpaid balance.
