Members of the #FixTheCountry Movement are mobilising resources to pay the legal fees of their lead convenor Oliver Barker-Vormawor.
Speaking to JoyNews, Felicity Nelson, a member of the Movement, said such initiative forms part of the many ways they are displaying their solidarity.
"Raising funds for the legal fees is one form of showing solidarity. There are FixTheCountry people who are were not in Ghana at all and they contribute their ideas. Even people writing on their Facebook is and also exposing what is happening is another form of solidarity.
"We are raising money for his (legal fees)," she told Evans Mensah on Top Story.
Mr Barker-Vormawor was arrested on February 11, after he took to social media to threaten a coup following pictures emerging from the Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu's, 65th birthday bash showing an ‘E-levy’-designed cake.
