The Member of Parliament for Upper Denkyira East, Emelia Ankomah, has urged duty bearers within her constituency to prioritise the delivery of excellent services to the citizenry.
She made this call during a working visit to several governmental agencies within her constituency.
This visit, the first of its kind since her decisive victory in the 2024 elections, took her to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), the Fire Service Department, the Ghana Highway Authority, the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), the National Ambulance Service, and the Department of Labour.

Hon. Ankomah stated that the purpose of her visits was to familiarise herself with the operations of the various agencies and to strengthen relations between her office and these institutions.
This, she said, would ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services in line with their operational mandates and the resetting agenda of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and His Excellency the President, John Dramani Mahama.

She assured them of her continued support and encouraged them to reach out to her office whenever necessary, especially in matters that would enhance the efficient delivery of services for the benefit of the people of Upper Denkyira East.
She also visited several churches within the constituency to express her gratitude to God for His protection and for seeing her through the elections.
She commended the churches for the significant role they continue to play in the lives of citizens and in the development of local communities.

She acknowledged the crucial contributions of churches and other faith-based organisations in the areas of health and education.
She further assured that her office would remain open to all individuals with creative and innovative ideas that could aid in the development of the Upper Denkyira East Constituency, regardless of religious background or affiliation.
Later, Hon. Ankomah visited all six communities in the Pokukrom electoral area, where she reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to bringing the necessary development to the people.
