A former player of the Black Stars, Emmanuel Oblitey has died at age 69.
According to reports, he died on Sunday, March 19 in Accra.
He was a member of the team that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1963.
Emmanuel Oblitey was part of the team that represented Ghana in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
He was also part of the Black Stars team that toured Europe in 1961.
Oblitey also played for Great Olympics and Real Republicans.
