Former Hearts of Oak Director Fawaz Zouk is calling for immediate changes in the team after their failure to win last season’s premier league title.
Fawaz Zowk who was hoping to see the Phobians win the title regrets their inability to challenge Asante Kotoko for the league title allowing their rivals to win their 21st league title as they remain with 20.
The club’s transfer activities’ going into last season was expected to make the side competitive with 12 players axed and replaced by 14 thought to have better quality to push for laurels.
But Hearts could only finish in third place, 16 points behind champions Kotoko and the passionate and tough talking Fawaz Zowk is calling for immediate changes.
“I personally think we failed because we spent money on some players who failed to live up to expectation”.
“There is still hope and what we need to do is to make some changes to the team”.
Hearts fans however expect the club to be busy in the transfer market in the off season to build a team that will be capable of winning a record equaling 21 league titles and play in the CAF Champions league again.
