Four members of the Ghana Football Association's Executive Committee have been appointed to serve on Standing Committee's of the Confederation of African Football.
Fred Crentsil, Vice President of the GFA, Emmanuel Kyeremeh, Felix Ansong and George Afriyie will serve on CAF Committees after Caf’s Executive Committee, at its meeting in Cairo on May 15th and 16th 2013 approved their selection following a new system of selection.
Crenstil will join the 23-member Organizing Committee for the African Nations Championship, a tournament for home-based players.
Kyeremeh was selected onto the Audit Committee as a member. Felix Ansong joins the Organizing Committee for Women's Football with George Afriyie nominated as a member of the Marketing and TV Committee.
Five other Ghanaian officials were also named on other Standing Committees.
FA Cup Chairman, Alhaji M.N.D. Jawula will serve on the Organizing Committee for the Inter-Clubs Competition.
Former GFA General Secretary, W.K. Agra is on the Legal Affairs.
Education and Technical Development Officer of the GFA, Francis Oti Akenteng is on the Technical and Development Committee of CAF as a member.
Louis Laryea has been selected as a Zonal Representative for West B for the Referees' Committee.
Supreme Court Judge and former Chairman of the Ghana Football Association's Appeal Committee, Justice Anin Yeboah has been appointed to serve on Appeal Board, an arm of CAF's the Legal Body.
Their membership will be for the period between 2013-2015.
