The former Deputy Information Minister, Frank Agyekum Saturday morning voluntarily reported himself to the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI).It is the second time Mr Agyekum is appearing before the BNI to answer questions in connection with a contract awarded to his former boss Stephen Asamoah Boateng’s sister-in-law.Frank Agyekum, Asamoah Boateng and his wife and a host of others are facing nine charges bordering on fraud.Curerently Mr Asamoah Boateng is in BNI cells having been detained since Thursday.He had gone to submit himself to officials of the national investigative body following reports he was being sought to be served with criminal sermons. But the BNI arrested him and detained him since.As of Saturday afternoon, it was unclear if Mr Frank Agyekum would also be detained.
