Free Inspiration Reaching Everyone, FIRE is set to organise the 3rd Inspiration Weekend Tournament.
FIRE is a nonprofit organisation with an objective to help the less privileged through sports as well as build capacity and skills in young people.
The 2nd edition of the Inspiration Weekend Tournament brought together 6 teams from u12, u18 and u23 categories of both boys and girls, who parcipated in a basketball competition at the Jamestown DUNK centre.
The 3rd edition which is in collaboration with Make-Up Professionals will have teams and groups competing in various sporting events including basketball, volleyball, swimming and water polo.
Some of the activities which will take place at the event includes a court painting and renovation of rims and nets at the Korle-bu basketball Court on December 12.
Also, a girls' and boys' conference and cultural event led by One Village Alliance organisation will be held at Keta(kedzi) from December 14 to 16.
On December 18, the Inspiration Weekend Tournament will take place at the Bayview Village, Atomic Junction before the final event takes place at Village Parade and Community Development in Santrokofi, Volta region.
