Lightweight boxer, Richard Commey (24-2-0) is confident of ending his winless streak as he prepares to battle Hedi Slimani (26-2-0) in the Freedom Fight Night.
Commey lost two straight bouts to Robert Easter Jnr and Denis Shafikov late last year as his quest for a World title was halted.
Ahead of the Freedom Fight Night, a night to celebrate Ghana’s 60th anniversary after independence, the lightweight boxer is talking tough.
"I’m feeling confident because I am going to face someone I am older than," he told Joy Sports.
"I will beat him no matter what and let him know he is facing the best and the world will recognize me as number one. That’s my aim."
The winner of the bout will claim vacant WBC international bantamweight and Commey is confident of claiming the title.
"When I grab the title, now I can boast. I will not allow anyone scare or intimidate."
"I have studied Aguilar. His amateur record is good.He is a very good boxer. But in Ghana, if you want to beat me, you have to be more popular than Muhammed Ali or Floyd Mayweather."
Other bouts will see Duke Micaiah (19-0-0) taking on Jonathan Aguilar (17-4-0) and Fredrick Lawson (24-1-0) facing on Sakina Mullings (19-2-0).
Tickets are available at the front desk of Multimedia ranging from GHC 20- GHC 400.
