Turkish club Galatasaray are keen to offer Michael Essien a path out of Chelsea.
The Ghanaian is looking to depart Stamford Bridge this month with his desire becoming more apparent especially after the Blues captured Nemanja Matic from Benfica this week.
Reports suggest that Istanbul giants Gala, managed by former Manchester city boss Roberto Mancini, are seeking a temporary spell until the end of the season.
However, Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho may not sanction the move as his side gets set to take on the reigning Turkish Super Lig winners in the Champions League Round of 16 next month.
