Ghanaian musician Gambo's single 'Comma Tu-Tapel', featuring Ayigbe Edem, climbed to number one on Shazam’s Nigeria Top 200 Chart.
The achievement comes as the song also placed third on the Shazam Global Afrobeats Top 200 Chart dated Tuesday, 26 August 2025. On the same chart, American-Ghanaian singer Moliy secured the number one spot with 'Shake It To The Max'.
Gambo’s historic feat further cements his growing reputation as one of Ghana’s most promising acts breaking barriers across Africa.
The milestone follows his recent United States tour with Afrobeats superstar Davido on the “5IVE Tour.” Gambo made history there as well, becoming the first Ghanaian artiste to perform at the 17,505-capacity KIA Forum Arena in Los Angeles. He opened the show before joining Davido on stage in other American cities.
Industry watchers say his exploits are helping to project Ghanaian music onto the global stage. Known for his blend of rap, songwriting and vocal artistry, Gambo continues to position himself as one of the faces pushing Ghanaian entertainment internationally situs gacor.
Speaking on the latest achievement, Gambo said:
“Breaking into the number one spot in Nigeria means a lot to me because it shows that music has no boundaries. I’m grateful to every fan who made this possible. This is fuel for me to keep pushing harder - expect more powerful music, bigger stages, and history-making moments ahead.”
