The Farmer’s Day Weekend came alive in a spectacular celebration of Ghanaian food culture as Charterhouse successfully hosted the much-anticipated Gastro Feastival 2025 on the 6th and 7th of December at The Palms Convention Centre, inside the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra.
The two-day experience hailed as Ghana’s biggest food festival delivered an unforgettable blend of food, music, knowledge sharing, and pure festive excitement.
With free admission, thousands of food lovers, families, young professionals, culinary enthusiasts, agribusiness stakeholders and holidaymakers trooped in to savour this vibrant celebration of Ghana’s food ecosystem.

A Feast of Flavours, Fun & Festival Energy
The festival grounds buzzed with activity from as early as 9:00 a.m. each day. Attendees indulged in:
• A diverse food market featuring local and continental dishes
• Creative drinks, cocktails and beverage experiences
• Live cooking contests packed with energy and competition
• Pop-up tastings and interactive culinary sessions
• Vendor showcases spotlighting both emerging and established food businesses
The colourful food festival zone became the heart of the celebration, with aromas, sizzling grills, and excited chatter creating an atmosphere of pure gastronomic joy.

Electric Performances That Set the Stage Ablaze
This year’s edition also treated patrons to exhilarating live entertainment. A lineup of celebrated performers and comedians brought unmatched energy, turning the festival into a true December party starter. Their performances contributed significantly to the festival’s electric ambiance keeping the crowds dancing, laughing and entertained throughout the weekend.
The Knowledge Hub: Thought Leadership for Ghana’s Food Future
Beyond the food and fun, Gastro Feastival reinforced its commitment to shaping the future of Ghana’s agrifood landscape through The Knowledge Hub, a dedicated platform powered by masterclasses, expert conversations and agribusiness showcases.
Activities included:
• High-impact masterclasses hosted by seasoned industry professionals
• Food dialogues and panel discussions exploring sustainability, value chain innovation, agritech, nutrition and local sourcing
• Pitch sessions where young entrepreneurs shared creative agribusiness ideas
• An agribusiness expo linking farmers, processors, investors, and innovators
The Knowledge Hub provided a rare opportunity for learning, networking and collaboration, positioning Gastro Feastival not just as an entertainment event but as a national development platform.

A Successful Celebration of Farmers, Food and Culture
Held in partnership with the Presidential Initiatives in Agriculture & Agribusiness, the Feastival amplified the message of supporting local producers, celebrating Ghana’s food heritage, and strengthening the agribusiness value chain. As a Farmer’s Day Weekend event, it paid homage to the backbone of the nation—its farmers.
Patrons praised the festival’s organisation, diversity of experiences, and the seamless fusion of entertainment, education and culinary exploration.

A Festival That Delivered and United
From the vibrant festival art direction to the large turnout, spirited performances by the likes of Medikal, Kojo Blak, Cina Soul, The Ark Band amongst others, engaging knowledge sessions and diverse vendors, Gastro Feastival 2025 lived up to its promise as Ghana’s biggest food experience. It successfully united food lovers, creatives, industry professionals and families under one festive umbrella.
