GBfoods Ghana has made an indelible mark on the manufacturing landscape by sweeping three major awards at the prestigious 2025 Ghana Manufacturing Awards, held on May 23, at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
At the event, GBfoods Ghana received three awards:
Overall Manufacturing Company of the Year
Excellence in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Award
Manufacturing Innovations Award
This remarkable achievement not only highlights GBfoods’ industry-leading standards but also cements its reputation as a pioneer in driving sustainable growth and innovation in Ghana’s manufacturing sector.
Winning the Overall Manufacturing Company of the Year award stands as a historic feat for the company, representing the highest honour in Ghana’s manufacturing space and a recognition of years of GBfoods Ghana’s strategic investments in people, processes, and products.

Through the implementation of sustainability initiatives such as installation of solar panels in our factories as well as the use of electronic forklifts, to reduce our Carbon footprint, we are reducing carbon emissions up to 660mT,” said Mrs. Ewuraba Adusei, Marketing Director of GBfoods Ghana.
The awards ceremony brought together leaders from across Ghana’s industrial sector to celebrate excellence, resilience, and impact. GBfoods Ghana’s triple win reflects its consistent commitment to best practices and its ability to respond to the evolving needs of the market with creativity and care.
Earlier during the industry visits by the Ghana Manufacturing Team and the CEO, GBfoods’ Factory Director Mr. Philip Wellington who coordinated the visit, emphasized GBfoods’ commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality and initiatives mapped out to further drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing plants.
