The country’s largest bank, Ghana Commercial Bank says it has positioned itself for a significant growth this year.
To this end it has networked all its 133 branches nationwide, and extended its banking hours to 4pm daily and will also operate on Saturdays.
GCB has the largest number of branches but its main challenge has been how to network them and provide enhanced services to its customers.
Speaking to Joy News the Head of Public Relations of GCB Nana Duncan said the various projects undertaken place the bank on a higher pedestal to better serve its customers.
Apart from the now one-bank outfit resulting from the networking, the Bank is also rolling out a national fast money transfer product.
