Moritz-Broni Kwarteng has joined Bundesliga side, VfL Bochum, from Magdeburg in a four-year deal that will run until 2027.
The 25-year-old Germany-born Ghanaian midfielder is transferring to Bochum after a hugely successful 2022/23 season in the German second tier.
The club announced the signing of the Stuttgart-born on Thursday via a statement on their website.
Following the conclusion of the deal, Kwarteng said "the Bundesliga is a great challenge that fills me with immense enthusiasm. I will do everything in my power to be successful there with VfL".
Technical Director of VfL Bochum, Marc Lettau, disclosed they have tracked the midfielder for a while and is excited at the conclusion of the deal.
"We have been closely monitoring Moritz-Broni Kwarteng for quite some time, so it is all the more satisfying that the transfer could now be completed," Marc said.
Kwarteng has played 43 competitive matches for Magdeburg, contributing to 23 goals; 13 goals and 10 assists.
