The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that its public education and sensitisation on school selection for 2021/2022 academic year will commence on November 23, 2021.
The exercise will take place in all respective Regional, District Education Directorates and schools.
“Management wishes to inform stakeholders to watch out for infographics, short videos in nine Ghanaian languages, flyers and physical presence of officers in all districts, communities and schools to embark on the sensitisation drive,” a statement from GES said.

The press release, issued by the Head of Public Relations at GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, noted that the selection of schools will begin from November 29, 2021 to December 14, 2021.
“Parents and guardians are particularly advised to take keen interest in the selection of schools processes to ensure a smooth placement this year,” the statement added.
It further stated that short codes will be made available for candidates to confirm their choice of schools.
