The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned the public about a fake letter circulating on social media, which claims that 50,000 teaching and non-teaching staff are to be recruited.
In a statement issued on Sunday, September 21, the GES said the letter “is FAKE and did not originate from GES.” Management said that no such recruitment exercise has been announced.
The Service assured the public that any official recruitment will be communicated “ONLY through the GES and the Ministry of Education official outlets.”
GES is therefore advising the public to ignore the fake letter and report any fraudulent activities connected to it.
