Five more persons have died of the novel coronavirus, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has said.
This brings the country's death toll to 261.

The Service's website also indicated that there are 166 new infections bringing the total case count to 43,260.

So far, 41,276 persons have recovered/discharged, according to the Ghana Health Service website.

There are currently 1,723 active Covid-19 cases in Ghana.
Out of this number, five persons are in critical condition, three on ventilators and 14 severe.
