Ghana U20 ladies team qualified to the 2014 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after beating Equatorial Guinea 4-3 on penalties on Sunday in Accra.
The Black Princesses won 1-0 in regulation time after Wasila Diwura-Soale headed in from close range in the 4th minute.
This tied the aggregate at 1-1 after Ghana lost by the same margin a fortnight ago in Malabo.
In the shootouts, Ghana missed their first kick but recovered to convert the fifth on through substitute Fatima Alhassan.
Ghana will be making a third successive appearance at the tournament.
The 2014 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup finals will be played from 5-24 August in Canada.
