The Black Satellites will embark on a two-week pre tournament camping in Switzerland ahead of the FIFA World Youth Championship.
The locally-based players have been training in Accra for the past two-weeks for the tournament in Turkey which begins next month.Head coach Sellas Tetteh is expecting to have some of invited foreign-based players to join the team before their departure."On June 3 we will leave here for Switzerland for a two-week training tour, which will be the final brush up to the World Youth championship," chairman of the Black Satellites management committee George Afriyie confirmed to Joy sports."We will leave Switzerland for Turkey on June 17 and picking a training camp a lot of factors comes into play and in this case we are looking at a very serene atmosphere where you can get good facilities to train, good weather conditions and so these are some of the factors we considered."The Black Satellites will face a tough challenge in Group A alongside France, Spain and USA.
