A Ghanaian, Dr Douglas Boateng, will chair and moderate a panel discussion at the 2010 international SmartProcurement World Conference in South Africa.
The theme for the discussion is “The Strategic Mandate of the Procurement Profession”.
The conference scheduled for 16 - 18 November, 2010 will bring together panelists including some of the leading practitioners in the industry responsible for billions of Rands and USD dollar equivalent procurement expenditure.
Sectors represented on the panel include, amongst others, banking, financial services, logistics, chemicals, ICT, mining, public sector, agriculture, retail and consulting.
The SmartProcurement World conference is the largest functional specific commercial convention on the continent attracting aspiring and practicing professionals involved in the procurement and supply chain profession. Since its inception in 2005 it has grown to become a leading forum for the discerning professional looking to network with colleagues and peers plus gain thought-leading ideas.
Dr Douglas Boateng is the Founder, President and CEO of PanAvest International a 5PSCM niche business advisory, education, training, coaching and mentoring company.
