Radio personality, Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye has praised Ghanaian women for their courage and the significant roles they play in the lives of men.
According to her, women are extremely brave and they literally bring things into existence. She added that men will not even enjoy peace and freedom to work if there were no women.
“Ghanaian women are powerful, we are the center, we make things hold, seriously if you don’t have a woman in your life you will not be free to do your job, to wake up in the morning and go to work and come back late at night” she asserted.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Mrs. Owusu-Aboagye said the power of women is not determined by their financial contribution, rather women contribute massively in other ways.
“Other women may not be contributing financially and I think that’s the mistake we make, we think that because you’re not putting money on the table, you’re not contributing and that’s wrong, we contribute in many ways, we’re actually the reason you live,” she said.
The topic on the show was “What do Ghanaian women bring to the table”? Media Personality Nana Aba Anamoah was with the other co-hosts to speak on the issue.
Nana Aba added that Ghanaian women are perfect however, their negative sides become pronounced when they are with the wrong men.
She mentioned that perfection does not require improvement and it confuses her whenever some men continuously ask perfect women to improve.
“Ghanaian women are perfect, the only time you see any imperfection is when we’re with the wrong men,”
“If you’re with a woman who is caring, what improvement are you looking for? what is your definition of more caring?”
“Because if you have a woman who is responsible and you say I need more responsibility what are you talking about?” Nana Aba quizzed.
Few callers called in to share their contributions and most of them attested to the amazing nature of Ghanaian women.
