The Ghana Health Service (GHS) says 95 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded as of August 22, 2020.
This brings the country’s total tally to 43,717.
According to the latest update on the Service’s website, the country’s active cases continue to drop significantly.
While 41,843 persons have been discharged/recovered, 1,604 active cases remain.
Meanwhile the death toll has increased to 270.
