The Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) team has trained staff of the Social Investment Fund under the Ghana Welfare and Youth Employment in Service Delivery and Capacity Building (GWYESCO) Project to enhance their capacity in public financial management.

The training equipped participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively use the GIFMIS platform in managing financial processes and public resources.

According to the organisers, the capacity-building programme focused on strengthening financial management practices, improving transparency and promoting accountability in the use of public funds.

The initiative forms part of the GWYESCO Project's broader objective of enhancing institutional capacity and improving service delivery by empowering public sector staff to efficiently manage financial operations through the GIFMIS platform.
