Co-host of JoyNews’ AM’s show and old student of St Augustine’s College, Kojo Yankson has asked Mfantsipim school to be content with their defeat in Tuesday’s one-eighth tie in the NSMQ.
Speaking on set after the tie, Kojo Yankson said their Cape Coast city rivals can brag that they did not lose to Swedru SHS who placed third in the tie.
“They have had the honour of being beaten by St Augustine’s [College],” he said.
Yankson is confident that his alma mater will go far in the competition.
For now, St Augustine’s have qualified for the quarterfinal and will face Tamale SHS and Boa-Amponsem SHS for a place in the semis.
The JoyNews anchor added that Augusco is ready for the ultimate and will be the ones to lift the trophy.
