Ghana Oil Company limited, GOIL has taken delivery of a modern Fuel analyzer as part of efforts to further ensure the quality of fuel.
The Equipment known as Eraspec, will be specifically used for the fast measurement of important properties of Gasoline and Diesel fuels and will be deployed at retail stations.
The use of the state-of-the-art equipment will address any challenge posed by product adulteration, smuggling and dilution in the downstream petroleum industry.
GOIL is noted for retailing quality fuels and the acquisition of the product, according to Mr. Kofi Nyarko, Health, Safety, Security and Environment Manager, will ensure that customers get the finest quality of fuel products.
“Quality is our number one priority and anytime customers buy fuel from our stations, they must be assured that the products have undergone rigorous check”, noted Mr. Nyarko.
Mr. Nyarko was satisfied that the equipment will tremendously enhance speedy resolution of customer complaints on adulteration and contamination of fuel products.
The resource technician for the Fuel Analysing machine, Decoltot Sullivan from France, took GOIL officials and technicians through the use of the analyzing machine.
