The Golden Bean Hotel has been adjudged the Best 3-Star Hotel in Ghana at the National Tourism Awards 2024, organized by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).
This prestigious event held at the serene Osu Castle Garden last weekend under the theme: Celebrating innovation and recognizing excellence in Ghana’s tourism sector, brought together high-profile dignitaries who included former Minister of Tourism and Senior Presidential Advisor, Florence Oboshie Sai Cofie, who chaired the event, and Group Chairman, Crystal TV Group, Togbe Dr Crystal-Dzirackor, was the Guest of Honour.
Also in attendance were the Minister of Tourism Arts and Culture, Andrew Egyapa Mercer and his Deputy, Mark Okraku-Mantey; Board members of the GTA, the CEO of GTA, Akwasi Agyeman, and his two deputies, Ekow Sampson and Ben Anane Nsiah, the diplomatic community, heads of institutions, directors and staff of the ministry and its agencies.
The Awards

In the citation, the Ghana Tourism Authority commended the hotel for its remarkable achievements and dedication to excellence within the hospitality industry.

Upon receiving the award, the General Manager, Randy Attuquaye Clottey expressed his excitement, noting the hotel’s recent recognition as the best 3-Star hotel in the Ashanti Region by the GTA. He emphasized the importance of this national accolade, stating, “To be crowned the best in the whole of Ghana is a special moment for us.”
Mr. Clottey announced plans for the hotel’s expansion to boost service delivery . He dedicated the award to its staff for their commitment to quality service, clients for their loyalty, partners for their dedication and its board and management for their unflinching support.
Also in attendance were top Executives of the hotel including; Maame Ama Asantewaa Adjem, the Sales and Marketing Manager and Francisca Aba Acquah- Financial Controller.
Maame Adjem, in an interview with the media reaffirmed the hotel’s quest to continue delivering high-quality services, coupled with the introduction of relevant service packages to remain a step ahead of its competitors.
She seized the opportunity to call on patrons to target the Golden Bean hotel this festive season for a mouth-watering service.
