Gospel artiste Patience Geraldo has announced the release of her debut single, Todah, scheduled for December 22, marking a defining moment in her music ministry and international calling.
Born on October 19 into a family of six, Geraldo is stepping into a new chapter driven by strong will, academic ambition and a deep passion for divine service. She has long admired women of affluence and authority, a mindset that continues to shape her purpose and outlook.
Her journey into music ministry began at the age of nine, when she felt a clear calling to worship. Over the years, she served diligently as a worship minstrel in several churches, finding fulfilment in leading God’s people into His presence. Gifted in songwriting, which she describes as a response to Psalm 96, worship became the core of her spiritual expression.
However, years of service in the church led to a sobering realisation. Geraldo observed a distinction between service to God and service to an institution, often centred on a so-called ‘Man of God’. She became concerned that the physical well-being of committed volunteers, including musicians, ushers and sanctuary keepers, was sometimes neglected in favour of institutional growth. In her view, the church at times appeared to prioritise physical offerings over the holistic welfare of its members.
This experience led to a period of disillusionment, during which her commitment waned. She stepped away from church life for a significant time and even considered joining a secular band. Eventually, she says, grace found her again, reshaping her understanding of purpose and ministry.
Geraldo now sees her mandate clearly. She says she is called to function not as a church singer tied to one congregation, but as a Gospel Artiste with a mission to bless the global body of Christ. In line with this vision, she has signed with StemsBank Record Label, a move aimed at amplifying her reach and impact.

The label has expressed strong confidence in her future, assuring fans of consistent support and notable developments as her career unfolds. Her debut single under the label, Todah, will be released on December 22.
Quoting 2 Corinthians 2:9, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined what the Lord has in store for those that love Him,” Patience Geraldo adds with confidence, “Watch out for me!”
As anticipation builds, the gospel music community is watching closely as her ministry takes shape, one song at a time.
