Hearts of Oak will defend their President Cup title against Asante Kotoko on July 1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The annual match which is organized by the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) and sanctioned by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is played to honour the sitting President of the country on every Republic Day.
The Phobians will be aiming to win the trophy for a third straight year having defeated Medeama and Asante Kotoko in the last two years.
Hearts beat Kotoko 5-4 on penalties last year and this year’s game will afford the Porcupine Warriors a chance to exact revenge on their rivals.
The last meeting between both sides ended 1-0 in favor of Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
