Hearts of Oak would be counting on their new Serbian trainer, Vucicevic Nebojsa to lift the gloom that has engulfed the side in the premier league when they take their turn in the FA Cup on Sunday.
The Phobians are among a host of clubs that would be playing in the concluding fixtures of the Round of 64 stage this weekend.
Plunged into the relegation in the league, Hearts need a lift before the premiership returns from a month's break.
But their first competitive test could come at the Ohene Djan Stadium against Division One side, Pure Joy managed by their former coach Nii Noi Thompson.
For Thompson, it's the perfect time to play his former employers.
“We are working very hard for this match and as you already know, this is a knockout match and when you lose the match, you are out of the competition so we won’t want to lose this match,” he said.
Hearts would dread an early exit as the Cup competition represents their only opportunity of a silverware this season.
Caf Champions League campaigners, Aduana Stars would clash with Ebusua Dwarfs in Cape Coast while AshantiGold, also involved in continental club football battle Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.
