Premier League Board boss Welbeck Abra-Appiah is worried about officiating in Sunday's big game between Hearts and Kotoko.
And he has openly warned match ref Yaw Amartepe to be professional at the Accra Sports Stadium. Ahead of the crucial game Abra-Appiah has challenged the Sunyani-based official to give “a fair chance” to the two teams.
This follows calls from the Joy Sports team in an editorial also noting the need for transparency in these last days of the league season.

The PLB boss noted that bad officiating could even bring riots, looking the position of both teams on the league log.
Hearts of Oak will host Asante Kotoko in a match which both clubs want to use as a source of revival. "I want the referee to be firm, always on the spot and credible and if these conditions are fulfilled there is no way Kotoko or Hearts will complain," the PLB boss told Asempa FM.

For Abra-Appiah, even though referees have been generally good this season, their efforts could be nullified if officiating for the game on Sunday is biased.
In fact, Asante Kotoko officials have already taken the lead in mind games, with widespread critique of the appointment of Ametepe.
Kotoko want avenge the 1-0 defeat suffered in the reverse in Kumasi while Hearts are poised to prove that beating the Reds was no fluke in addition to helping them out of the drop.
The visitors are in high spirits ahead of their trip to Accra following their 1-0 win over the league leaders Ashantigold. Hearts need to bounce back from the 2-1 defeat suffered at the hands of New Edubiase United in Obuasi last Saturday.
