Ernest Ankomah, popularly known in showbiz circles as Belbonfly, winner of the Hitz FM’s music reality show “Hitz Discovery” is embarking on a campaign to stop skin bleaching in the country.
After a long break from music, the artiste is embarking on the campaign purposely to educate the general public to stop using chemicals and certain pomades to change their skin colour.
The musician explained that, the campaign will seek to educate people on the effects of skin bleaching by focusing on five key areas.
The areas include; “damaging of the skin, weakness of the vain, skin cancer and body odour”.
“The body is the holy temple of God and maintaining it naturally really invites good spirit,” Belbonfly added.
The musician hopes to work with authorities to confront manufactures of the chemicals and pomades used for skin bleaching. It is his hope that they will put caution statements on their products to educate the public on the effects of using these chemicals.
Belbonfly is already out with a new song on skin bleaching.
