Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Oyekundun Omolade Richeal, popularly known as Lade, says she had to move out of her home in pursuit of her music career.
Though her parents are supportive of her career, she needed to be closer to certain people to help attain her goals.
Speaking to DJ Reuben on Luv FM’s DriveTime, Lade said she also had to defer courses in school to be able to make music.
"I am not done with school, I had to defer my courses and focus on music but I will resume in due time,” she said.
The Adulthood Anthem (Adulthood Na scam) hitmaker is planning to travel to Ghana very soon for collaboration with some Ghanaian artistes.
“Gyakie is the only Ghanaian artiste I have communicated with so far and we are planning on recording a song together in no time,” Lade announced.
Lade has had many contracts with great brands in Nigeria, including Airtel, Maggi and Techno and she is excited at the opportunities.
“I do not know many people in the industry with such connections, they were just opportunities that came my way while I was hustling,” she stated.
