Prophet Nigel Gaisie has said in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM that there are times he gets his prophecies wrong.
When asked if he has ever failed with some of his prophecies, he answered in the affirmative.
"I sometimes get my prophecies wrong. That makes me a human being. Every prophet that gets it 100% is fake.
Sometimes God will twist your mouth, and your lips to make a mistake so that you the vessel will know that you are a human being. Sometimes I get it wrong. That is why you have to always be sharp spiritually. That is why in the space of a prophet, we don't like disturbances. My emotions are very important to me because I can see red and misinterpret it. And so sometimes we get it wrong," he said on Daybreak Hitz.
He also mentioned that some of the mistakes he made were a result of his naivety in ministry when he was young.
"Most of us the prophets are not educated. And the senior men of faith did not hold us, they didn't welcome us. So personally, I have made a lot of mistakes which are regrettable. Because I didn't have anybody who was so much interested in me.
Someone like Reverend Eastwood Anaba will call me sometimes at dawn. He is someone that I love, and [for] some of us, he is like the checks and balances for us," he said.
He noted that when he was in his late 20s he did not have such directions and mentorship.
"So we made certain mistakes which were avoidable. But we are growing. There are things that I did about 9 or 10 years ago. Given the opportunity to have prophesied about Mahama, I wouldn't have said it the way I said it," he further stated.
According to him, the Prophecy about former President John Mahama winning the 2020 elections brought him a lot of attacks due to his inexperience in communicating the messages God gave to him.
In the meantime, he has prophesied that the New Patriotic Party is going to lose the forthcoming general election.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie is the leader of the Prophetic Hill Church. He is noted for making prophecies about political figures, celebrities and happenings in the country.
