Legendary gospel singer, Moses OK has disclosed the amount of money he receives from the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO).
In an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes show, the renowned musician told host Roselyn Felli that he earns more from streaming platforms, particularly YouTube and Spotify, despite being new to these platforms
He indicated that he recently began uploading his music and has garnered significantly more revenue compared to the payments he receives from GHAMRO.
“I just came there but I think it’s far better than what I get from GHAMRO. Last year what I received from GHAMRO was between 100 cedis and 90 cedis.
From the start of his career, Moses OK revealed that he has never received an amount exceeding one hundred cedis from GHAMRO.
“I’m yet to confirm, but that’s what we’ve been receiving,” he continued.
This has caused him to join his colleagues and stream all his songs on music platforms to gain financial rewards for his efforts.
The ‘Nkakrankakra’ songwriter has released a new track titled ‘Adom Bi Ahyia Me’ (Grace Encountered Me) and is streaming on all music platforms.
