Black Stars defender John Paintsil says he has overcome the recent domestic issues and is concentrating on his career.
Paintsil hogged the headlines for the bad reasons three months ago after he was arrested by the Ghana Police for allegedly beating up his wife and a neighbour.
Before that domestic incident, there were reports he had bedded prostitutes in the Black Stars hotel at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
After all the troubles, he returned to his club Hapoel Tel Aviv helped them finish third in the Israeli Premier League as a bit-part player.
The experienced right-back says he has overcome all the negative publicity and is hoping come back strongly.
"I have overcome it because I didn't do that, all the media reports were not true but such is life and life must go on," said Paintsil.
"I must fight for my future and make it bright because I have other people who are looking up to me.
"It's high time I call on my friends and speak to them that all that happened wasn’t true so they should cheer up and keep praying for me and very soon they will see me back strongly."
Paintsil, excluded from the Black Stars squad for next month's 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho, visited the team during a training session at the Accra stadium on Wednesday.
