Outspoken Ablekuma West MP Ursula Owusu-Ekuful says Ghanaians should remember Fifi Kwetey as the politician who had to eat back his words after making wild claims against the NPP.
She said Ghanaians should treat Fifi Kwetey's political commentary with 'the contempt that it deserves' because he is a 'serial liar'.
The Transport minister Fifi Kwetey organised his election year ritual where the governing NDC addressed a press conference dubbed 'Setting the records straight'.

Fifi Kwetey once again kept hammering, the NPP has a dye-in-wool propensity to tell lies. He rehashed several claims to stress the point that the NPP loves hypocrisy.
Although the party cast itself as a party that respects the rule of law, its forebears the United Party were deeply involved in the overthrow of Ghana's first president Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in 1969.
“It is no secret that the NPP tradition is the most discredited tradition in the history of Ghana,” he said. “They have shown one remarkable trait down the years, consistent hypocrisy and double standards.”
Speaking on Joy FM's Super Morning Show Wednesday, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful said when it comes to propaganda and lies, Fifi Kwetey should "stop tagging people with the dress that fits you so well".
She said she almost believed that the Transport minister had reformed from his old ways.
The NPP MP recalled that in March 2009 at the Appointments Committee of Parliament where Fifi Kwetey had been nominated as Deputy minister, he "was begging the whole vetting committee to forgive him because of the lies".
The Minority locked horns with the former NDC Propaganda secretary challenging him on a litany of claims and pulbications he supervised as editor of a pro-NDC newspaper, the Ghanaian Lens.
At his vetting in March 2009, Fifi Kwetey refused to swear an oath because according to him, he does not tell lies.

The then Deputy Minister- designate for Finance and Economic Planning, however, could not substantiate claims that NPP government had sold the gold reserves of the country.
During Parliament's debate to approve his nomination, the NDC-Garu-Tempane Dominic Azumah urged the House to approve Mr Kwetey's nomination because he has learnt his lessons.
After heated debate to decide his fate, Fifi Kwetey sailed through by 11 votes.
Ursula-Owusu said with the background of Fifi Kwetey in mind, she was surprised that the former Propaganda Secretary had not "moved away from the blatant blind politicking they used to do".
The NPP MP observed that Fifi Kwetey's compatriot, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa appeared to have reformed from the politics of invectives and false accusations.
Fifi kwetey must learn from Okudzeto, she said and cautioned the deputy Education minister, "I sincerely hope he is not going to revert to types like his friend Fifi Kwetey".
Ursula-Owusu said after appearing civil in government, Fifi Kwetey has descended into propaganda because elections are 55 days away.
"He shouldn't lose his mind because elections is imminent", she said.
