It pays to be sweet.
A self-proclaimed sugar baby has claimed that older men are clamouring to pay for her to shop and travel the world — showing her more respect than some of her previous younger lovers.
Charlotte Davies, 24, said that she was motivated to become a sugar baby after watching a TV show that explored the sugar baby-daddy relationship.
“At the time, I’d gotten out of an eight-year-long relationship, so I knew that I didn’t want to get into anything serious anytime soon,” said Davies to Kennedy News. “The only dating I was doing was very casual, so I just thought that this was like what I’m doing anyway — except I wasn’t getting paid for it.”
The Post has reached out to Davies for additional comment.
Davies said that in January, she began using a dating app that connected her to other men, usually in the 30- to 60-year-old range, who are willing to pay hundreds for dates.
The social media marketing executive, who maintains a roster of 10 sugar daddies, said she is paid nearly $250 per date and claims each of her daddies makes her feel more respected than any of her past relationships.
“You almost wouldn’t expect it because of the nature of the arrangement, but I do feel more respected by these men than by the men I’ve had the misfortune to date in the past,” stated the entrepreneur.
“I don’t know if it’s just me having been unlucky with the guys I’ve chosen in the past, but there’s something about guys who are slightly older who seem to have seen more of life and have realized what’s important.”
Davies said she tries to assess the vibe between herself and her potential sugar daddy before discussing her rate for dates and sex.
Davies also claims that she loves the feeling of bringing joy into these lonely men’s lives.
“A lot of them are a bit socially awkward and shy, so it can be a bit of a challenge to get people to open up, but it’s something that I enjoy trying to do,” gushed the social media guru.
“At the same time as well, it makes me feel really good and confident seeing these people.”
“The guys I meet up with are all so complimentary, and I think maybe it comes from the fact that a lot of them have quite upsetting home lives or are quite lonely,” continued Davies. “It feels like it means a lot to them when you see them. It feels like you’re adding a lot of value to their life, which is really nice.”
On TikTok, Davies documents her many fabulous journeys thanks to her mature male patrons.
“Sometimes they’ll take me shopping and pay for everything, or take me to spas, and I actually went to Paris a few weeks ago,” gushed Davies.
“Traveling is something that I love any way that I can’t afford to do a lot of the time, so it was really lovely to have everything paid for – plus getting paid to travel, which is amazing.”
Davies claimed that while she loves the idea of casually dating, she is “always assessing and reassessing” whether the arrangement is right for her.
“And if it ever stops being the right thing for me, I would end my arrangements,” she insisted.
“I would definitely say that it’s something I really enjoy. I can’t see it stopping anytime soon.”
According to Davies, she is saving up enough money to buy a house and pay for her own trips.
