The Presidential Candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has made it clear that he remains unfazed by the insults and criticisms often directed at him in the political arena.
According to him, he is committed to serving the people of Ghana, stating that negative remarks will not deter him from his mission.
"When you are in politics, it's part of the course. In a sense, there's not much you can do. People, just for no reason, but for their own parochial reasons, will insult you.
"But as long as it doesn't stop me from doing what I want to do for the people of Ghana, I will not be perturbed," he said.
Dr Bawumia has been under scrutiny since he became the flagbearer of the governing NPP with many of his critics accusing him of being a liar.
However, speaking at a media engagement on Sunday, Dr Bawumia stated that he remains focused on his objectives and determination to push forward with his agenda for national development.
"As they keep insulting me, I'll keep getting things done for our people," he asserted.
