Security has been beefed up at the Chereponi District in the Northern Region a day after angry youth attacked the district police station.
The irate youth stormed the police station after their colleague fuel attendant was arrested for selling adulterated fuel.
One person sustained injuries and with extensive damage to the building and police vehicles.
No arrests have yet been made.
The Northern Regional Police Commander, DCOP Ken Yeboah told Joy News the windscreen of police cars were smashed, louvers destroyed.
He said one person was hit with a stone and was quickly rushed to the hospital.
He said they quickly had to call for reinforcement to contain the situation.
